Two ravens perched atop a pinyon pine tree in Big Park near the unincorporated part of Yavapai County known as the Village of Oak Creek. Courthouse Butte is pictured in the background. Ravens are members of the crow family. They are found more frequently in wilderness areas as compared to their more urban crow cousins. Ravens can be distinguished from other crows by their distinctive croaking sounds.
