Sedona Oil PaintingsThe studio oil paintings presented in this section were all painted by Sedona artist Steve Simon. These paintings were all produced in studio from photographs taken by the artist. Each was painted using professional oil colors on stretched canvas.

The oil paintings were created with the intent of producing a thirty-piece collection of Sedona scenes to be reproduced in Steve Simon’s seventh coffee-table book.  This work-in-progress will present a broad spectrum of Sedona’s spectacular scenery—from spring wildflowers accenting Camel Head to fall colors along the West Fork, from sun-drenched Bell Rock to snow-covered Coffee Pot Rock.  Once the collection is complete, Simon will begin writing poems to complement each piece for the book.  If you are interested in receiving notice of the book’s release or receiving other notices such as on-line sales or upcoming events, please sign the e-mailing list to the left.
